Default questions...NON-Magnum...

In browsing through the FAQ'a, I see references to use certain plugs, etc - however, if and when I end up with my 91, it is PRE-Magnum. Do these same plugs hold for it, or would something better suffice?

Also, any suggestions on anything else, during a basic tune-up, that would be better to aim for - brand wise, for example, on plug wires, etc....sometimes there are, sometimes no.

I do plan of sea-foaming it, and changing the oil within a couple days of driving it, to in addition to checking the plugs, and such - but are there any nuances for the pre-mag 318, and tuning, I should be aware of, to maximize my efforts, and my mileage?

I would say the autolite 3923s should still be your best bet, but someone may have a different answer.

As far as brands go, avoid bosch. You Accel should be good. Other people may add more to that list.

Seafoam works great, but plan on putting in a new o2 sensor when you're done.

The autolite plugs 3923 worked well in my truck when it was going.
