No. It's not worth the cost of raw materials used to make it.
The "theory" behind it, is the swirling action of the air will help atomize/mix the fuel and air better.
This might be true with carb/TBI, but with the Magnum motors (1992+), the fuel is added just before the intake valve, and therefor, this has nil effect.
You're better off getting a larger throttle body, or putting in an electric cooling fan.
Other possible ideas, found here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ml#post2008979

The actually HP gain is hard to tell without it being dynoed. But most likely 5 HP. Just imagine when when fan is engaged. You can feel the drag on the engine. Then without it engaged you can feel it freed up. It is worth it! I have done it.

Just one question before I do it. Do I need to put a nut on the pulley since the clutch is removed? I can remember if the pulley was fixed to the pump or not.

The pulley is pressed on the pump. Some say you don't need the nut. But for me I rather be safe. So I cut off the nut on the clutch to keep it secured on.

Cool thanks. I think I'm gonna do that before I put anti-freeze back in. Since I had to take out the radiator and re soldier the top of the tank. Did you see a big difference on the 5.2?
