just wonderinghow much lift is on your trucks, total, and what size tires fit.i am planning 2" body," in the front, with the keys, and 2" in the rear with blocks.which will be a total of four, but might go more.
All you can purchase ready to go for our trucks is a 2" body lift from trailmaster and torsion keys from ebay or whatever. Trailmaster used to do a 4" suspension lift but they discontinued it a few years back probably near to impossible to find now.
Oh swank, is that a black powder coating? I was thinking of doing a black powder coat but wasnt sure on how it would adhere to the rim, my truck is white with black trim all over the place thought it would look good, but I am real glad to know I can put 33's on the stock rim
i put 2 springs on each side, torqued up the front 2 inches. worked great, not much difference in the rear for feel (at least in an 89 sport). but she stuck like glue to the road in a high speed turn. i'll take extra springs over blocks any day!
I got the reindexed keys in the front with the torsion bars cranked up and two inch blocks in the rear. I have no problems with handling and cornering. I have 31/10.50 mud dawgs on my truck.
I have 2in body lift.
Up front 2-3in with indexed torsion bar keys.
Out back 4-5in with Ram 2500 leaf springs.
33 x 12.5 R15 MudStar tires
are they just stock, leaf springs,no blocks?leafs under or over the axle tubes? glad to hear can use stock wheels,i have aftermarket wheels, with a good offset, but dont care to use them because off wearing things out quicker, but probably will, just because of the look of the stance.
