Default 93 Dakota Water Pump

My water pump is leaking and i know how to replace it i just can't seam to find the right wrench to remove the big bolt on the water pump.

Anyone know for sure what size it is? I think i have it narrowed down to 1 7/16 or 37mm.

Thanks

A quick search reveals 1 3/8in. I just use a large Crescent wrench.

Thanks crazy but that was too small. Was at the my local parts store and grabed every thing over and inch.

1 1/16 - 1 3/8 to small and 1 1/2 was to big.

Micrometer says 1.45 inches and the closes was 37mm.

But i am going to do like you do. No point in buying a big wrench for one dam thing.

It's a 36mm. There are special tools you can get for the fan clutches. Most of the kits out there are made by Lisle, and can be purchased online.
