Convertible top pictures needed

I need afew shots of a complete top frame. Particularly, the intermediate lateral brace that is between the windshield locks and the rear hump. I have found the bar has a few spaced holes that makes me think that there is a bar there, but I cannot find any meaningful pictures online.

Maybe a BUMP to your thread may help.

Thanks, I will still be working on it regardless, just that I wanted to know if I had to fab something or not.

ya know i wish i had my phone with me a coupe weekends ago. i saw a 91 convertible dakota that was in pieces that sold for $1200! the guy had the build sheet which should that it was a factory drop top(iirc only 8 were made in 91 but i'm not entirely sure on that).

it started and was driveable(the new owner drove it to his booth and assembled it). i was so pissed off that i didn't have my check book with me. it was the 4cyl 5spd 2wd.

i kick myself for that one.

Well, I put a new top on the Dak. Waiting for the glues to dry and the fabric to shrink a bit. I may have put on the 4 bow a little tight as it is kicking out just a hair. Went fairly smoothly since I removed the entire structure (just 2 bolt really) and addressed it that way. Definately less airy since my original top was fairly ragged out. No pun intended. Still looking for the number 2 bow pics if anyone can help.

Damn Siggie...

I JUST saw this thread... you still need a photo ?

I can take a photo of my roof today.

Edit: Duh... just FULLY read yoru last post...
I'll take some photos today and post them asap

Edit: Here's the photo...

http://i50.tinypic.com/uro29.jpg

The middle appears to have a metal channel above it, attached with 3 screws.
The photo shows 2 of the 3 screws
The near screw is factory... the far screw is not.
The 2nd top I have has all 3 factory screws installed.
There is a section of heavy cloth that runs above that channel. I assume that cloth strip on the factory top holds the roof tight to the channel somehow, which is then screwed to the middle crossbrace/hoop with those 3 screws.

Thanks for asking... I never would have noticed that 2 of factory screws were missing on the top i'm using.

If ya need anything else about the convertible let me know. PM me at the same time as a normal forum post if needed.. I may miss any normal forum posts alone.

Yea, I have the channel that is suppose to go "inside" of that sleeve. You have to drill out the rivots on the bow to do it. I will get around to it though. I DO NOT have that bow cover though. Apparently it is a two piece there. Thanks for showing that though.
