Default Black substance in anti freeze overflow

Well the title says it all just checked my antifreeze level and noticed a black substance floating around in there.

Does anyone one have an idea what it might be?

The Blob?

A layer of neutronium?

Really dirty oil?

No idea without at least a picture.

Have you noticed the truck running any different? A sputter at idle, missing, etc.?
Has anyone put any additives in the antifreeze? Some of these can cause problems.....
Has anyone added antifreeze? Not all antifreeze are the same and some dont mix.
If not, this is what I would do in this order.
1. pull dipstick and look for moisture in the oil. Usually will be signs of white foam. If none then move to 2.
2. Drain antifreeze and flush system, including heater core.
3. refill and watch to see if it comes back.
