96 dodge dakota high and low beams not working
Hello just bought a 96 dakota and the head lights worked last night but when I drove it the next night the lights didnt work neither low or high beams. I have checked the fuses under the dash and under the hood. All other lights work and I know it's on a different circuit. Just need to figure out what my options are to fix it. Thanks for the help.

0: Download the factory service manual from the link in the stickied FAQ. It'll have diagrams and instructions on how to troubleshoot it.
1: Check the connector at the headlight switch, and check the switch also.
2: If the headlight switch is working properly, check the wiring into the dimmer switch.
3: Replace the headlight switch and its connector.
4: To help keep this from reoccuring, add a relay harness to the front to keep the current through the headlight switch as low as possible.
