35s
Thanks for the add. I know tire size is discussed a lot but I'm unsure how to search through the forums. I've got a 94 dakota with a 3.9 5 speed 4x4. I've got 31s on it no
w with 355 gears and leveled front end. I want to go up to 35s if possible and if it is possible what gear ratio would I need to change to? Any help is much appreciated

To fit 35's your going to need quite a bit of lift. There is a 4in suspension lift kit, which is no longer made but sometimes you can get a used one. Check the FAQ2 for more info.
Next you do a custom SAS (Solid Axle Swap), which include a ton of cutting welding and fabrication. Check the FAQ2 for more info on several SAS links.

Ive done a ton of research about this. 35 will fit with 5inches of lift. 3 suspension and 2 body. I just put 33s on mine with 3in and i rubbed quite a bit before cutting and pounding. 456 gearing would be best but... 411 is as high as you can go with the stock 7.25 chrysler front diff. Since youre limted on body space engine powerand gearing.. Stick to 33s or below. Ive got 33s with 3in of lift and a 5.2.. I know its not buyer remorse wishing i had stuck with 31s...

I ask this in your other post, but where are you finding lift kits for 1st gen. dakota's? And not the body lift.
