Has anyone considered these hella light kits? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hella-Visio...rd!20136!US!-1
Been running a set for ... 4 years now, I think.
Well, the Hellas for 2 years.
Using Night Breaker 9003/H4 bulbs in it, and a relay harness with its own fuses.

Hey Ralph,
Thanks for your reply!!
A few questions though
1. is the connector for the 4666 sealed beam the same as the H4 bulb?
2. Did you make up your own harness and if not, which one did you use?
FWIW I purchased a used fuse-relay panel from a 92-93 dakota. I plan to use it for 2 fans between the condenser and radiator, like the shelby dakota used..... Figured while I had the front apart, I was going to upgrade to dual relays for the headlights.
Then you know, as the snowball rolls down hill it gets bigger!! So I figured why not new headlights!!
Thanks for your reply!!

1) Nope, nowhere near.
2) Yep, rolled my own. Actually, I did a 4666/4666 relay harness, then a pair of 4666/9003 adapters. (I bought two pair to get the extra 4666 male connector; I pulled two connectors out of a totally trashed early 1st gen to get the females.) Adapters I bought were similar to these on Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/CPW-H4666-H...dp/B01N0XL6N9/ OTOH, the price was closer to these: https://smile.amazon.com/Partsam-Har...dp/B01N5HLF7U/ This was several years ago, though.
Heh. Instead of retro fitting that one, you might want to consider a panel like https://smile.amazon.com/ONLINE-LED-...dp/B072KJNPHJ/ for your fuse and relay box, presuming you can stick with 40A Bosch relays. I find the idea of this box nice; I didn't use it, it wasn't available back then.
I've got a buss bar out of a late-70's GM/Chevy pickup that my battery cable runs to, and then from the other side the cable runs to the fusible link splice. That's deliberate; if I have to replace a fusible link, I can bolt it to other fittings on the buss bar.
From the buss bar, I run to one like this (common input): https://smile.amazon.com/6-GANG-DIST...dp/B077ZKD83N/
Currently I only use three sections, LOW, HIGH, SUB .
But I spaced ahead so I'd have spare blocks for future expansion (fog lights, fused run to the bed and camper shell, etc.)
I've also seen 3x2 and 4x2 designs; they may fit inside the fender better.
I used bolts UP from the inner fender, so that the binder head was all that was exposed to a hard impact driving the tire up. *dry* I recommend NOT pointing them down with the nut under; P235/75R15s can be coaxed to hit the inner fender on a 2WD if the bump is hard enough.

Hey Ralph,
as always, lots of good information from you!!! The one thing I do like better about the factory 92-93 relay-fuse panel is it has a built in buss bar. That being said, I would have liked to have found a larger panel (more relays)
I figure I need 2 for fans, 2 for headlights, 1 fuel pump, then possibly 1 for ac and 1 for choke. I can combine fuel pump and choke on 1 but even at that, I will be full with no room to grow.
But thanks for your help!!
