Transmission problems
My 2005 dodge Dakota is stuck in neutral. No matter what gear I put it in,it’s still in neutral. I’ve had no indication of anything slipping. I was driving along and hit a little bump in the road and this happened. My nephew dropped the pan and the fluid wasn’t burnt and there was absolutely no debris in the pan. Could it be something as simple as a sensor. It has 200,000 miles on it and I don’t want to spend 4,000 dollars on a rebuilt transmission. Any help would be appreciated |
Is the shift linkage actually working?

What part of the world are you in?
Guy did my A999/A998 (31RH) for about $1500 two years ago, including the new torque converter. I think 4KUSD is a bit much for a straight forward rebuild. RwP |

Thanks |
