Default NEW HERE! Anyone still active?

Just joined the thread. I'm located around southeastern, PA. I've owned my '95 Dakota since I was sixteen and have had her for six years now. Originally the truck is a 5.2l auto 4x4 SLT with very few factory options. Since I've owned the truck I've done:

5spd swap (added centerforce single stage clutch kit)

Replaced rusty body panels (bed & fenders)

Custom Halos (replaced a year later, old ones burned out)

Cheap paint job

2nd gen 16" wheels with 31s

Short throw kit (CoreShifters)

real Hurst Pistol grip ('70 roadrunner)

Factory fog lights

Factory overhead console

'13 Dodge dart seat swaps w/ durango center console

truxedo roll-up bed cover

& most recently a full frame swap to ditch the rotted out frame this included new: (followed some tips from the victimbuild)

All new suspension

Braided Stainless steel pre-bent brake lines (Inlinetube)

Fuel lines

Block heater

1" body lift

Powder coated body mounts & polyurethane bushings

OEM upper and lower A-arm bump stops

Replaced drivers side floor pan

new molded, moss backed carpet (Auto custom carpets)

All three factory skid plates

Pioneer flip up radio

LED bed lights for underneath the cover

Hikari LED headlight bulbs

Future plans include:

9.25 rear and disk brake swap

Remote entry

Back up camera

I also own a '94 Mark iii (traded an '05 Neon for it) The 318 blew up in that, snapped the crankshaft. In the midst of dropping in another 318.

"Is anyone still active?" You didn't look at the time and date stamps on the most recent messages on the threads then.

I'll let you make up your own mind as to if that qualifies as "still active" or not.

I did, I did. Theres some recent posts definitely. Doesn't seem nearly as active as it probably once was. Sifted through both FAQs, alot of which have dead links and some outdated info now.

Well, yah; the number of these vehicles on the road go down every year. Same as the other forums I'm on.

"Less Active" <> "Inactive" though

I'm getting mine whipped into shape more and more each weekend that I'm not doing something else, or that it's not raining.

Speaking of - oil, oil filter, air filter changed this past weekend. Over 6,000 miles I added 1 quart of oil ... and it was on "ADD" as I drained Friday night.

1993 Dakota LE (5.2L), original owner. I never tricked it out in any way. Just baby it to keep everything working and looking good. 174,000 miles, garage kept. It has its fair share of scratches and minor body flaws but overall still looks and runs fantastic. I get lots of compliments. This thread is fantastic for getting help and direction. There are several guys here who have been on this forum for many years who are of great help. I give and receive help when I can but not like these other boys.

Welcome!

I'll agree.

Too many people there asking the same damn questions that get the same damn answers and too many who think their opinion is how the universe is being loudmouthed and crapping all over everyone else.

Worse than the worst of USENET back in the days.

(Yes, I still subscribe to the Dodge trucks USENET feeds; nothing there. I also am on a few IRC servers in a few more channels; nothing much there. Le sigh.)

Shucks, I bet there's not even any truck owners talking trucks at the bar nowadays ...

Where did you get the fog lights and support for it? That adds a very classic touch to it.

Also digging the angel eyes. How did you get them to mount?
