No spark

So I have a 95 Dodge Dakota sport 2.5L manual. I have new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and coil. I have a new ASD relay as well. I have no power to my coil on the green/orange wire UNLESS I hot wire from port 30 to 87. This had been beating me for days now. Can anyone help?

You will only see power there for about 3 seconds at key on, unless the pcm sees the engine turning. Helps to have a spare pair of hands for chasing these problems......

I have a code 42

That would explain a lot.....

Verify you have 12 volts at pin 30 on the ASD relay.
Should be 12 volts on another pin (86?) with ignition on.
PCM grounds the control circuit to activate the relay.

I can't find a good wiring diagram.......

There is a 95 FSM in the FAQ page. I think you want chapter 8D

Got it, section 8W. 8W-30-16.

And the relay is not labeled the way I would expect.

A and C are the control side of the relay. A comes from what looks like fuse 14 in the fuse block, C is the ground side of the circuit, and is controlled by the PCM.
