LOL I just painted them blue. I'm takin them off when I do my body job in the spring. nobody makes aftermarket lights for these trucks... so you have to improvise

 

They do make the conversion from sealed beam to composite for yours. I was going to get them until I learned there were 2 variations for the gen Is

Yeah loke these for instance on ebay, you can even get them at most local parts stores. I am almost possitive they will bolt right in.

Yeah and you can get them from auto zone,. advance and O'riely for about $40 and they are usually in stock

 

Colorado05, your body panels look brand new, have you done body work to your Dak? I had mine painted last week and took off all my trims as well...still getting used to it. Good luck with your lowering project, I would like to see it completed.

 

No they arent new, I wish they were. The photos hide alot. When I bought it 1 month ago it had hideous barbwire pin striping on it and alot of rust on the hood, I ditched the pin striping and sanded and primed the hood. But prior to me buying it the owner had Macco do a $200 paint job so the painted over the rust and dents so it is FAR from perfect.

I think I am going to slowly sand and prime it all up in the basement though to get that darn rust gone.
