Cool Bucking and a Popin

Ok here goes, have a 3.9 dakota 1990 in the early morning truck seems to run fine, once it warms up it starts this backfireing through intake but only as i excelerate if i maintain constant pressure on throttle it will not backfire i can go as fast as i want, i dont want to dump a bunch of money on parts trying to get lucky. also does any one know how to read ck. eng light when you check codes as it flashes on dash ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!
