Default Timing issues (replaced Timing Belt and Tensioner)

Hi, I replaced my Timing Belt ('95 2.5L) today and now my Timing is off. I lined the Timing Marks up on the Crank and Idler Pulleys and the Cam Pulley the best I could (as specified in the manual from FAQ's), Even had second, third and fourth opinions to verify my accuracy and yet it's still off.

Is there some trick to this that I don't know about?

Also, Is there an easier way to get the drive belts (no AC) off?

The belt may need tension on it during the installation. If needed clock it back a bit so once installed with tension on the belt it will line up. Good luck!

when you did the belt did you reset the distributor? the nice thing about the 2.5l and 2.2l mop) motors is they are non-interference motors, which means even if the timing is off the motor won't blow. you might be able to compensate the timing by advancing the distributor till it runs the smoothest.
