Default head on and working.

it is a 1990 2.5 and the head is on now and working no water leaks. filled it with water and drove to town and back and didn't overheat. the only problem i have is an oil leak, i think it is coming out of the valve cover. the only time i smell oil is during a sharp turn or under a load. when do i retorque the head bolts or do i. i haven't changed the water pump yet but vi got a new one. i guess you have to take the timing belt off to change the pump? two of the bolts are beneath the drive pully for the dist.

Yay for back on no water leaks!

Find that oil leak, make sure it's from the valve cover gasket.

Default messed up the truck.

i was driving to the next town and the engine started chugging. i glanced down for a second and looked up at a semi coming at me. he was in his lane and i must have drifted for a sec. i swerved and most of me missed him. it scrapped the side of my truck and bent the hell out of my rear bumper. all it did to him was knocked his lugnut caps off and put rubber scuff marks on his bumper. nobody was hurt i was scared as hell but managed to drive home. so far no cops. it was my fault for taking my eyes off the road. what a dumb ***.
