Default 94-95 transfercase

ok stupid question! how do you get a transfer case off of these dang things Takeing one out of a 94 SLT for my 95 SLT cant get it to slide over the crossmember and cant take crossmember out on ether vehicle because they are welded to the frame the bolt to the torsion bar sticks up to far . someonr tell me the secret befor i take a cutting torch to THEM PLEASE> and thanks

Take both drive shafts off. Take all the bolts that connect it to the tranny off. Tilt it up and lower it out the back. There might be a damper on the end of the TC Case. If so remove it.Its bulky and awkward, but it will drop. Be safe......
