Default Hey! Me and my 95 Dakota

Hey, I'm new here and was just joining to get some help with a few things on my dakota. I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota club cab V8 4wheel drive... Looking to upgrade it this summer and get it ready for the winter again and maybe some mud pits. Lemme know if you have any sugestions. I have some major issues with it.. The transmission is slipping.. BAD. And four wheel drive doesn't want to work.. the wheels lock up when I put it into 4 wheel and the only way to make them spin again is take it out of 4wheel and do a brake stand for a few seconds to make the wheels spin freely again.. -.- idk whats wrong with it..

are all 4 tires the same size and brand? differing size tires can screw with shifting in and out of 4WD
