my t-case is shot and the dakota is stuck in 4 wheel

is there a way to temporarily disengage the 4 wheel operation so I can still us the 1994 dodge Dakota 4x4, 3.9, manual tyranny, truck until I can afford to purchase and change the t-case.

Remove the front driveshaft.

Moved to correct section. HeyYou nailed it. Take out the front driveshaft.
