Default Check engine light
How do you reset check engine light,light in the lower left in the dash? 94' Dakota SLT,about 170,00 miles.Automatic transmission.

Find the codes, fix the problems, and then disconnect the negative battery cable for at least 5 to 10 minutes, then be aware it'll kick a 12 code for the next 50 (IIRC) start cycles.

Can also clear it with a scanner.
