Look for LA family 273/318/340/355/360 V8 bolts; you'll end up with spares, but those'll work fine.

Here's an ARP set: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/a.../make/chrysler

Except for having extra bolts for the other two cylinders, yes.

The 3.9 in your 1991 is a LA V6; those are for an LA V8.

So extra bolts left over; no problem.

A lot of other items for a LA V8 also fit; torque converter bolts, flexplate bolts, flywheel bolts, exhaust manifold studs and bolts, valve cover screws, water pumps, studs etc there.

Some doesn't directly, natch; the crank and cam are different due to being 2 cylinders shy on the 3.9 *grins*

Pistons and rings swap; connecting rods are a bit thinner at the crank end on the 3.9 due to the split crank.

But overall, think of a 318/5.2 LA motor, less two cylinders.

What length bolts did you take out?

Also, the reviews mention that there may be two or three different lengths; see if ARP or whoever has a 3-length set for the LA small block V8.

For 3 bolt lengths, here's the Mopar Performance package: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/dcc-4120471 Again, if you know the thread and the length, you may be able to replace with other sources also. But look for the V8 sets; you'll just end up with some extras left over due to the "missing" two cylinders.

Edit 3: Here's a listing with the lengths of bolts and the sizes: https://www.yearone.com/Product/1966...-e-body/fd1201

BTW - That Haynes book? Doesn't even make good toilet paper; what you want is the genuine Factory Service Manual.

The Haynes book reads like a "Joy of Beef!" book written by a vegan, or a "Joy of Sex!" book written by a virgin; i.e., all too often it has NO idea what's going on. And if you ever get to electrical in it ...

I'll add this as a quick reply - ARP lists a 3-length set; http://arp-bolts.com/kits/ARPkit-det...p?RecordID=422 .

Shop around for that part number; it's probably available for less. It's ALREADY less than the Mopar Performance everywhere I see it *grins*
