I bought a new fuel pump and assembly for my dodge Dakota 1995. It doesn't come with the rollover valve and the one on my old one is broken. Auto parts store says it's a discontinued part. Dodge dealership says the same. I've googled til I'm tired. What can I do?

I ended up buying a used pump with one in it. I searched this site because I saw someone had invented a fix by adapting another brand rollover valve. I did not find that post but I did find one where some guy says he found one on ebay. I found this searching "roll over valve, 95 dakota" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odk...akota&_sacat=0
I'd keep searching this site if you cannot get one of those on ebay confirmed as a fit for your 95

The fix esin8785 used is in post 8 and 9. The other guy has a 96 esin8785 has a 95

EDIT- Note to mod I did not see this link in the FAQ. I'm sure I overlooked it but maybe highlight it for future?
