Hey, can anyone help me figure out what is wrong with my taillights? The bulbs are fine, we’ve checked the fuse multiple times seems to been fine and checked the wires for a bare spot which it did have one, so we fixed that and was working fine for awhile then just stopped. So we checked again and can’t find anything. I need help pleeease.

 

So, what is wrong with the taillights? You explained a bunch of stuff but what the actual issue is.....

 

Lol wow didn’t even realize that! They just won’t turn on.

 

Do the front parking lights come on?

Do you have a factory service manual for the wiring diagrams?

I'd be checking into and out of the headlight switch first, if it's tail lights AND parking lights.

I'd then check the wiring if the parking lights in the front come on, but the tail lights do not.

And if you mean brake lights / turn signals, that's a different set of wires and tests.

Definitely need more info...Tail lights are too ubiquitous.

Are they the Running Lights that don't come on?
What about the brake lights?
What about the turn signals?
What about the Reverse Lights?

There are multiple bulbs, multiple elements within bulbs, and multiple circuits involved...some functions shared and some not, so the more you can tell us what exactly isn't working and when and what IS working and when, would help us help you.
