not much to look at but she's done. Plenum pan put on finally. Glad I never put it on my 318. Runs smoother and quieter then my old 318. As far as the actual engine running that is. And its not OMG different, but its noticeable. All I can say is : :D

Congrats.

thank you. Thank you. Now theres a whole new list of things my truck needs. In no particular order:

Efan
check valve delete
deep trans pan
Transgo shift kit
Sonnax sure cure kit
the headers put on with full custom exhaust
Flyin ryan tune
Taylor 8mm wires
msd coil
Upgrade the dist. Cap and rotor
Hughes air gap (maybe)
Dress up valve covers
EQ heads
External trans cooler
Torsion key lift
Body lift
New leaf springs made
oh, and 411 gears front and rear
And that still doesn't cover paint and body work. Lol.

good thing I just got a job promotion. Hahahahaha

HeyYou 01-12-2018 09:38 AM

Congrats on the promotion. :)

I am not really a fan of deep pans, especially on 4x4 trucks, unless you have a skid plate under it...... Might do a remote filter setup instead, and use the large (1 quart) filter for additional fluid capacity. :D

understandable. But I dont take my truck anywhere where under clearance is an issue. She just weights too damned much and sinks everywhere lol.

I went boondockin' thru a farmers field wednesday morning on the way to work....... Hit a patch of black ice, and went into an unrecoverable slide.... so, pointed the truck at the path of least resistance, and went for it. In the snow and mud, I could actually get the truck back under control. 4x4 made pulling out of the field a breeze.... and mine weighs quite a bit more than yours. :D I was most certainly awake at that point, but, didn't have to go back home to change my pants at least. :D
