My wallet is wounded!
Just spent about $2,000 between RockAuto and Amazon on parts for the motor and rear end rebuild on the Dakota.
That doesn't even include any of the inside-the-motor parts, nor any extra heads in case mine are cracked.
My wallet has fainted and is smoking from the carnage.
I did include a new exhaust system (stock except for the Thrush Glasspack); new rear spring bushings; new cab bushings; and a few other nice things (including seat heaters for the seat rebuild. I'm getting too old to plop down into a cold seat; my tush likes comfort!)

Got in all the stuff they shipped.
One point - the Walker 40232, which is labeled 40232, is NOT a Y pipe for a Dodge Dakota 1988 3.9L! I dunno WHAT it's a Y pipe for ...
The only one I can find now is the MagnaFlow 50203, which is more like $250-$300 (!!!!)
So, the wallet whimpered some more.

Hey Ralph,
I cant even find a listing for 40232 on Rockauto, site...... But they do show 40235 for a 94-95. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...sn=431&jsn=431 Wonder what it would take to make it fit?
