Mine has done that foryears now also. Is it also rubbing pad on rotor? I have been told that my calipers were warped. Replaced them. They would last a while(just until the waranty was out) then back to the same thing. The last time I had both sidesrotors, calipers, pads, hoses and system flushed. I got about 10-11 months and about 10k mi and once again, just out of warrant, it started again.
If you figure it out, let me know.
I just live with it! It's still cheaper than a new one.

I have gone down this road before and I bet I've got you fix. Here is the link.

Maybe one of the brake calipers is hanging up, or a rubber brake line is coming apart to were you are not getting much fluid to the caliper.

That's what I thought. After replacing both on both sides I still have the problem.
I'm going to try hydroshocker's way. It makes sense on mine because every time I've had brake work done or done them myself the backs always look good. The last time was around 80k miles and the backs were still around 60% left.
Thanks Chris for bringing this up.

Another reason that it makes sense is that the front calliper pistonis warping and not allowing it to retract fully. warping from heat most likely. Heating up because it's doing ALL the work.

If you have 80K on your truck and your rear breaks still look good then you have a problem. Go my way first. I think the front breaks are doing all the work because the rear adjusters are not working. This is causing the front breaks to warp.

I'm sure this is your problem.

I've already decided I'm looking at this this w/e. I hope it takes care of Chris' problem too.

OK there are some definite possibilities to be examined here...I appreciate the response since its very irritating to be permanently tensed up and ready to steer to the right when breaking from a high speed as the left front wheel starts to lock....Chris
