Default ABS light and Speedo FYI

Hey Folks - just wanted to share my experience for everyone who might be experiencing a similar problem. For a few months I've been back and forth to the dealer and my mechanic to try to solve the ABS light staying on and the speedometer not registering. Aside from that, my odometer wasn't working either. I started with having sensors changed and changed again thinking maybe the first ones were faulty. (speed sensors - front, back and tranny)
My mechanic finally found that it was the ABS Control Module. Not a cheap repair. The part alone is about 450, but it only takes about an hour and a half to replace. All together the repair was just above $600.

My D is a 2000 SLT+ 4.7L.

Hope no one else is having this problem, but I'm glad to give the info just in case.

Have a Happy and Safe Halloween!
