Default Oil Pressure Sending Unit

I own a 2003 Dodge Durango with the 4.7 V8 installed. The oil pressure gage started acting up a few months ago on the first start of the day or if the vehicle had set for over 8 hours. If you turn the ignition off and restart again, and the gage works fine. So I checked all ground connections and etc.., to ensure their wasn’t another problem and assumed that it is the Oil Pressure Sending unit is going bad and so I purchased a new one. The new one uses a 27mm deep socket to install the unit, but can anyone tell me, what is the size of the Oil Pressure Sending Unit that is mounted above the engine oil filter on that 4.7 V8?
