Default Keyless Remote Programming

For a while, one of my keyless remotes for my 02 Durango hasnt worked. At AutoZone, they had a tester and it worked fine so they said it just needed to be reprogrammed. I found a website eKeylessRemotes.com and reprogrammed the remotes. They both work but now when I press the lock button, the car doesnt beep to indicate it locked. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks guy. Found it on like page 16-20. Turns out in one or my failed attempts to reprogram the remotes turned off the horn/churp feature. Didn't know you would do that. Don't know what I'd do without you guys and this forum!

I have this problem, but both of my remotes don't work. I know you need at least one operable remote to program another. I will probably have to go to the stealership to have them try to re program everything. They claim it will only cost about $50.

Seems the best way MoparMan,I found an ebay company claims if you send them yours they reprogram it off your vin, copy it and send 2 back...I don't trust it though.

Stealer here did mine,Ifound two more in boneyards and programmed those myself..3 working now... $65 all together..

Call around to local locksmiths and see if they will do it... The stealership here wanted $75 to program mine but, i found a local locksmith that programed it for $20!
