Default Brake & ABS Lt. on above 35mph + C.C. out

I'm happy to return to this super forum for Mopars. Its been a while since I have visited because of net & Comp issues. But let me thank all those that have provided a good source of info and entertainment. My Dodge is shaping up cause of it.
I have an 01 Durango and the ABS + Brake lt has been coming on and the cruise control has stopped working + the speedo IS working fine...This only happens after I bring the vehicle above 35 mph. The light does not come on til then. But it consistantly comes on above 35 and then stays on until I shut the vehicle back down. Any ideas?

you could try changing the transmission speed sensor (its on the output shaft of the transmission) but that usually causes shift problems too but its only a $35 so it cant hurt to try, it fixed my old truck

Also couldn't hurt to change the speed sensor as well. This is the number 1 issue for cruise and ABS issues. Besides they usually go out about the same time and they work together anyway. Rear Axel Speed Sensor / Rear ABS Sensor DIY

Thanks for the info folks. Thought that may be the case from past posts...Just wanted some more reassurance for what MAY be the culprit.
