Just got a '99 Durango because we needed more room. So far, so good.

$900? It either doesn't run or the interior is trashed.

I was a bit apprehensive about going to see it, I thought "A $900 Durango, this thing is gonna look like it had farm animals living it it, or it's gonna run like crapola." I pulled up, first thing I noticed..body is in good shape, walked around it, crawled under it to look for rust, very clean. Popped the hood, the guy showed me what he knew was wrong. Got the keys, started right up, idled a little bit funny, but he said it hadn't been driven in 2 weeks. I looked around, brand new duralast gold battery..terminals were shot. Wife came over, looked inside, she told me to look..Ok one minor tear in the seat, and those are easy enough to replace if I find one. Overall body and interior I would rate a 7 out of 10..rust in the usual places, tailgate, and front bumper, but someone at least took the time to put some black paint on the spots. I handed the guy the cash, grabbed the title and hauled a$$ before he realized I ripped him off..lol

Just finished up installing leaf spring helpers in rear and cut 1.5 inched from rear front wheel well to give more clearance.

Just switched out pic it was really to big so i scaled it down.

Left to do:

Rear bumper I am making myself (Dual Jerry cans , Spare tire, winch, able to carry spare axles)
Replace front shocks with Reservoir Pro Comp and rear with Reservoir Pro Comps MX6
1/4 steel plate for under armor to cover transfer case and Gas tank (Sad news is 1sqft = 10 pounds so I am looking at 300 pounds more)

Engine Rebuild kit upgrades with Mopar using Extreme performance High torque RV tow cam (318 5.2L)

Replace clutch Fan with Dual Electric Fans
Increase transmission cooling coils to a bigger foot print.
Going true dual exhaust with flange connections so i can put in the joining pipe for the cat when need to smog.
