Unhappy quick question.

hey guys i got a question when i start my truck i have to give it gas and if i let off it just stalls right out. if i get going it wont though just getting it into drive is hard though being it stalls out, i was thinking maybe my distrubuter could possibly be shot and its not giving off spark when i let off the gas? let me know what you guys think thanks.

What exact parts did you use for your tune up?

You can also do a tune up.

Try looking into the tune up section right here https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...wers-faqs.html under (tune up).

it controls how much air gets into the engine at idle with the butterfly valve full closed

and it is on the back of the throttle body, take off the airhat and look down the back by the firewall, right above the distributor

Clean the Throttle Body while your at it and don't forget to reset the PCM after doing the work. Look in the link I provided up there ^^^ and here is how to reset the PCM: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ine-light.html
