Default Abs & Brake light

Hi guys

I was just wondering if its easy to remove the abs and brake light bulb behind the dashboard,the reason i want to do that is because i am tired of seen the lights on



Ps: Dodge told me i need a new ABS module but i wont go that route

Yes,

however you can go to a junk yard and find a Durango with the same ABS system you have and pull the module and swap for yours and fix the problem for a few bucks!

Get one from the same year with either 2 wheel or 3 wheel ABS whatever yours is.

Well i was told if i get another one i will have to get it programmed to my vin number, now i have no idea if thats true or not?

afaik the module doesnt need to be programmed, but i believe you need the drbIII tool to cycle the abs module in order to bleed it properly

To bleed the pump, not just the little ABS electrical module (which is the ABS computer module).


There are 2 parts to the unit. The electric and the hydraulic.
