Has anyone painted these stock rims black i cannot find a photo anywhere online. Thinking of leaving a lip and the center and lugs all silver. Please put up a pic if you have. Thank you

Yea i went through there already i think everyone just got rid of these wheels instead of trying to save them. They are pretty ugly just trying to make them look a little better until i can get some cragar soft 8's. Saving up for the tires now and then the wheels.

 

iv actually never seen those rims on a durango, i know they were available, but iv only ever seen them on dakotas

 

I just hope they look better black lol. They are a little beat up but i figure sanding them down and paint them black might improve a little. I am trying to save up for the 31x10.5x15 wrangler duratracs so the rims will have wait. I just got the truck about a month ago for 2500.00 it has 130,000 on it but runs great. I did the alum gutter guard grill inserts and a flowmaster series 40. The ts lift and tires are next on the list.

 

Thats what mine has one it, but the spare tire is on the other style rim that was more common. Its odd, some day I do want to find another one like this and replace the spare rim just so everything matches, just me being picky.

 

They have them out there but they want like 100 to 150 bucks for them. I will buy new steel wheels before i pay that for one. If they they were bigger or chrome i could understand the price.

 

Odd, seems like the wheels for my Durango are less expensive than the ones for my Neon. I broke a Neon wheel once in the winter, and it cost me $150, that site wants at least $160, but only $140 for the Durango ones. I would have thought the Durango wheel would be more.

 

the rims on my truck ate over $500 each new, thats the factory rims (its also the 16inch rims)

 

I did my stock wheels black, they aren't the rims you have but just to try and help give you an idea I guess
