Muffler Offsets

Hello everyone,
my friend has a 2000 Durango (4.7) and is looking to buy a flowmaster 10 series for it online right now and dosnt know what the offsets are for the inlet and outlet and he dosnt have the truck with him atm....any help anyone?

What's a 10 series?

Series 40 if you want it louder than it should be.
Series 50 SUV if you want a nice sound but not overpowering

10s are the same as 40s on ebay. its the generic flowmasters that a few people are selling

OIC.

For the life you get out a REAL Flowmaster, and we are only talking like $75 for the 40s last time I checked, I recommend only getting the real thing. Slightly less than double that for the good stuff in the 50 SUV range.

A 10 Series is a Flowmaster muffler (single chamber muffler) this is a lot louder than the 40 series muffler (2 chamber muffler) and it was only $54....here are some vids of what they sound like

40 Series - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW1blsT2xVY
10 Series - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eup4lFDPDsc and this one for ha has - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3L4T..._order&list=UL

OIC. You put an obnoxiously loud, tiny 10 series muffler on it so the little 4.7 sounds like a real engine, or a ricer/american half breed.

I'll pass. Thank God for real CIs.

Your answer is the muffler uses a 2.50 Center IN / 2.50 Offset Out. The offset is approx 3 inches on center from the inlet. The hangers will allow for enough movement to hook it up.

Well, thanks for letting us know earlier. May have saved some ricer critique.

I'm that friend whom had problems with the muffler. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't critique another man's vehicle. Talk to any ''Real" Dodge owner and they'll tell you a 4.7l is far from ricer. Get your facts straight and if this wasted your time, than don't bother commenting back.
