Ok here is what I have been thinking about doing. I want the new MY GIG stock nav in my 1st gen durango. Clearly the way the interior is it will not fit. So I found out this raido will fit into the 2004 durango dash setup. I was comparing the design for the 2004 durango dash to the 2002 and they pretty much look the same expect for that middle piece. I was thinking I could rip out my entire old dash and just replace it with the 2004 dash and that be that. Of course there might have to be custom holes made to bolt it on but just curious what everyones thoughts on this were. I just want a complete stock look I love my D and plan to keep it for a very long time so I do not mind putting the money into it

The durango I have now is a 2002 Durango RT

Second question is I am having issues with the durango overheating after driving long periods of time on the freeway. it has a new thermostat and I did a compression test and I it read about 135 PSI on all cylinders. This seems low but its constant with all cylinders so I am assuming its not a head gasket. All the coolant overflows into the resavior and TONS of presure is in the top hose. Like I said it only overheats after about 2 hours of driving on the freeway.......Any ideas on this would be helpful (I also got a new rad cap)
