They are both made overseas Moog is just overpriced. I got a whole tierod and ball-joint kit from 1aauto for a decent price and lifetime warranty and it has been fine so far.
All parts basically come from China now. I use RockAuto and I get the cheapest parts possible and I have had great luck. Rebuilt the entire front end of my 2004 Mazda 6 4 years ago and no issues yet. Not even a hint of looseness anywhere.
Anyone have any experience with Detroit axle suspension parts particularly the 10 yr ball joints and tire rod ends. Moog parts 3yr warranty
Both junk...Detroit is truly garbage, Moog has become the Schwinn bicycle of auto parts....great marketing to make a name, poor quality in the real world.
Buy Mopar, or even better Carli Suspension

Pretty sure that's a load of **** and they're mostly made by TRW.
I've been running Detroit Axle parts on my '00 Durango now for about 4 months or so...so far no issues...now when I installed the tie rod ends, the numbers were switched...after I got that figured out it went smooth
