Default Lift Kits

So i just got a 99 Durango and was looking to put a 2-3 in lift on it. Have you seen any suspension lift kits out there for the durango, and what do you suggest?

Thanks

As for suspension I think there are only 5 inch lifts.
You can do a T/S lift, that will give you 2 inches.
Or a body lift which is 3...which ever you prefer I guess there.

It will make your front end a little stiffer and if you plan to go offending with your truck after doing it you won't have much flex if any. And as far as the suspension lift goes the only one out there is the tuff country 5.5 inch lift. I personally have never heard anything good about it though

I have never heard anything good about any lift for the Durango. If you plan on changing out your bearings often be my guest. A buddy of mine had the 5.5 inch lift and it seemed like every month or 2 we were changing the bearings. It got ridiculous....needless to say he sold it. It was a BEAUTIFUL 99 D, just got ridiculous with how much work had to be put into it, I even believe we had to change the spider gears twice in 2 years...He wasn't even that rough on the truck!

The t/s lift shouldn't compromise ride or travel. I'm gonna do one in the next two weeks, but they don't eat parts like a suspension kit will for the D's. If you are worried about it do a body lift for 3in.

The 5" is just a cradle drop, all is stock setup. I had to have the alignment blocks modified to straighten front tires out, not enough out movement. In stock form the front parts wear out in 2-3 year (according to alignment shop) add more weight its a matter of abuse. Tuff Country won't talk to the shop that lifted my truck about that lift that includes this year at SEMA. Mine weighs in at 5000lbs with 5 35in BFG A/Ts
