Durango won't stay running.

Everything turns on when we start it, but it doesn't want to stay started. Might be the ignition module, not to sure. Someone help please!

Check the battery and battery connections.

X2 on checking the connections. Especially your ground/negative cable and location on the block below the ac compressor.

Also check to see if the security light stays on after it dies. If it is reset the security

Forgot to add somethings.

Also it doesn't spark & the battery isn't any good, but it does give power, but the battery dies after a few days. Sorry, it's really hard when you live 32 miles from the nearest Mechanic..

We put new posts on the battery, but haven't changed or check the cables/wires yet.

How do you resest the Security?

--I'll post picutres of the battery cables/wires & the security light
after 4:30pm today. The securty light does stay on & blinks when the battery is dead also, thanks.

we had the very same problem with the durango we just bought. the problem was we had a cheap walmart key causing the security to shut it down. we used the mopar key and prob was solved. if u dont have the key that came from the factory try the stealership they hav the ones that work. there is a good chance you are having the same issue we had.

Check the fuel pressure at the rail and also the factory security will shut it down as well.

Have you had any luck with this issue? let us know what you find.

Well hydra with the battery diein' after 2 days it sounds electrical, especially without spark. Wouldn't be a bad idea to check the psi.
