Hey guys, Im not normally on the dodge forums, however my shop designs and produces double din conversion parts for some Chrysler vehicles, mainly the 1999-2004 Grand Cherokee. (there have been some challenges on that part but we seem to have all the kinks worked out now)

That being said while we were experimenting with different platforms we did modify a single Durgano/Dakota Dash from a 2001 Durango. We found that the part would be quite difficult and we did not feel there would be ample enough market to pursue production of a stand alone part.

That being said we still have our test piece laying around the shop, and while it is a little rough, in someones capable hands it should be easy enough to finish to 100% We are just looking to sell it to recoup some of the cost of developing it.

Really we are selling it for best offer plus shipping, its big and bulky and we need the room back on our shelves for other projects.

Yes I have been made aware of whats been going on on jeepsunlimited and addressed concerns there. This is just a demo part that we had put together. We have no intention on selling these beyond this one.

I am going to leave it up here for a couple more days and if no one wants off to the dump it goes. We need the room back in our shop.

 

I've been thinking about it doing a Double din mod on my Durango and came across your post in my searches. Is this still available? Will it fit a 2003 Durango? What are you looking at for costs? Let me know and maybe we can work something out.

I have a 2003 Dodge Durango and I'm wanting to put a 7" double din in it. I see that you converted a panel for a 2003. I'm interested if you still have it on hand.whats the cost plus shipping?
