Ashtray won't stay up
 

2001 Durango. I was tucking some wires for my Sirius Radio, I accidently forced the ashtray down, not knowing it was the ashtray I was tucking the wires in, and now it won't stay up. I can't figure out what latches it. I took it completely out, and still couldn't figure it out. I see the spring in the middle, but it looks like it has some gears in the back right of it.

Any ideas?
