Default Single clunk when turning.

1998 5.2L 4x4 only clunk one time when I turn left. I know I am missing some bolts, and I have not gone under to check anything yet. Any ideas?

LOL missing bolts you say, well thats not good and probably a good place to start. Seriously though a clunk turning sounds like ball joints, I would look there also.

Yea I started to search on here after I posted. How can I tell if the ball joints are bad?

The more I listened, as I turn slowly, whether going forward or backing up, if the wheel is turned to the left,it makes repeated clunks.

+1 on the bolts. Also check your control arms.

Might be better taking it in for a check up and get someone to shake it down and show you the problem. Might be good for them to fix it too so as not to loose any more bolts.

I haven't gone to get the new bolts, I know... bad me. It's definitely apparent that the bushings are shot all over, this truck has become a project. It might be a little bit before I get the parts so it's probably time to park it until then. Thanks guys!
