Crankshaft Position Sensor Tips

So I spent about 2 hours on trying to install a new CPS in the dark, before finally giving up and planning on conquering in daylight, anyone have any tips or vids or instructions? 1999 Dodge Durango 5.9.

It's on top of the bellhousing on driver's side. What's the difficulty you're having?

I know where it is, I got the old one out, is there a trick getting the new one in around the tranny dipstick without removing it?

Ok I figured it out.

easiest way to do it, pull right front wheel off and remove inner fender, the cps will be in plain view..

No trick, but the bore of that hole is TIGHT, especially if you are using an aftermarket sensor. You have to be at just the perfect angle for it to slide in. (that's what she said)
