Default catayltic converter

Hello there ppl i was wondering how hard is it to replace the catayltic converter and the front y pipe on a 99 4x4 dodge durango 5.2 engine

The header bolts are easy to reach from underneath. Depending upon what replacement parts you get, it would be an easier install if you dropped the front cross member under the trans (hold trans up with a board on a floor jack).

Ok thanx bro and my father in law is saying i need a donut gasket for where the y pipe meets the manifold. Is that true cause i cant find the gasket that he saying i need.

There is a spherical gasket between the cat and exhaust manifold, I think they call it the catalytic converter gasket. I have always reused the old one every time I separated them but you should be able to get one at your local auto parts store for around $5 or so.

It's most likely a generic part. Get one for the exhaust pipe size.
