As the question says what is the difference between a fpr and rrfpr and can you guys give me some links for the both. So i can read up and learn more about them also can some please post a link to a how to with pic for the spoolboy fuel pump mod on a 95 fuel pump.

 

rising rate fuel pressure regulators add more fuel to the engine as boost rises.... but i dont recomendthemsome times pressure will prevent the injectors from opening just get better fuel injecters and a air/fuel controller you'll be better off that way

 

fpr regulates the fuel to a set psi
rrfpr will raise fuel pressure to a set ratio when referencing boost such as 1:1, 4:1, 8:1, 10:1, or 12:1

there are tons of regulators to check out
when choosing a regulator, dont get some cheap crap off of eaby....spend the extra money and you wont regret it in the future

I plan on running between 10 to 15 psi of boost and 36 lbs injectors with a return line will it be better for me to use fpr or a rrfpr i was going to buy a aeromotivebrand cause i heard good things about them. The web page will not load up for the spoolboy mod how to.

 

i wonder why it wont load???
a fpr is all you really need, but a rrfpr will make sure you have plenty of fuel available
read around and you will find out what will work better for your application

most regulators you find are a 1:1 ratio..... the a1000 would be the best of those 2, its what most srt4's use....though the a1000 is actually intended to be connected to the end of an aftermarket fuel rail.....

if your gonna be running high boost then your best bet would be to find a regulator that has about a 4:1 ratio....that way it adds 4lbs of fuel for ever 1 lb of boost
though with aftermarket injectors a 1:1 should be fine

 

I don't think im going over 15lbs of boost. Ill look around for a areomotive with a 4:1 ratio to be on the safe side if anything i can always adjust the fpr if it to much fuel at full boost right? Another question with this set up am i going to have to run a stand alone fmu or anything like that off my pcm or is this what the fpr is? Im just trying to get this car in the high 11's low 12's in the 1/4 mile so i don't have to mess with a roll cage.

i think that almost all aeromotive regulator are 1:1
as long as you have larger injectors then i would reccomend just getting the aeromotive 13105
what you can always do is set the fuel pressure at about 60psi....then you should have enough fuel when you need it.....the extra fuel will just get dumped back into the return line

as for the stand alone, just get a map clamp and you will be fine
