did you use 3/4, or use 1/4?
if you used 1/4, that's about what mine shows, the first 1/4 tank goes fast (even tho it's only about 3 gal. worth) and then it's slow from then
3/4 empty tank for me is 7 gal.
if u are getting 80 miles on about 8 gal of gas, check your plugs, and see how they are burning
likely culprits, egr valve, O2 sensor, bad plugs/wires, basic tune up stuff

Might be time for a good tune-up...plugs, wires, PCV valve and air filter. Check your tire pressure and alignment.

For me after half tank it gulps then gas it seems. The first half always seems better for me...dunno why...lol Somebody said that there is ribbing in half of the tank that makes it a bitsmaller than the top half but I'm not sure how that effects anything.

So far even with my DOHC computer running richer than my stock SOHC compI still managed to get 270miles out of my tank and I beat it constantly...lol I could tell a huge difference last week when i drove it 160miles straight on the highway that it got awesome mileage I drove that all ona little under ahalf tank of gas, I put it up to 100mph a few times and went a steady 75-80mph. With gas at 500$ a gallon($3.14) I can only afford to fill it about to 3/4s tank. [&:][:'(]

My 80yr old Grandma I'm sure would have told me if I was leaking anything on herblacktop driveway whenI visit her...lol In-fact my Neon is the only one she allows to park on the blacktop...ahahaha

It going faster after half tank might be in my head I never clocked it in with the odometer.
