ITB's on 1st gen!!??
 

alllright now ive been looking for individual throttlebodies for years and i have never seen a kit for our car cause i know you need some kind of ems and weird adapters for the throttle cable but there is awholesale dealer down the street selling this 96 dohc mtx with itb's!! andit has a pro tec3computersystem from what i hear they're really good and it has likea rail which im guessing issome kind of air regulator bc it has a bunch of sensors on it? anyhow this car is hilarious its from california and it has like a bodykit and flames and all that but it also has a pretty built motor and it looks like a 3 inch exhaust so its not bad they want 1500 for the whole car i might get it i mean the itb's and computer alone are worth that and the chassis and everything is in good condition it only has 15k on it but i think someone rolled back the mileage i havent even seen it start bc someone lost the key haha but anyway if anyone might know the company that made this kit i would like to know i kno the front of the filters on the stacks said "spark" but im not sure ya id probably either build that car or get the motor and buy a 4 door and sleeper it all out but ya any help on the itb's is greatly appreciated thanks

nice, so yah i see its a custom job i guess the itb's on the one up the street from me are also custom...i also need a computer to run them also tho that electromotive tec3 is pretty nice i went and checked it out again i may just buy the whole car its like 1500 and its a dohc. iknow the itb's are pretty beneficial forthe neon plusthe lightenedflywheel it should rev pretty fast and it looks and sounds nice so all around i think ill jump on it thanks guys

seriously get it if you can afford it...you dont need a computer to run itb's at all. However it does help so you can pull every last hp out of them... just like any setup you could put megasquirt on a bone stock motor and probally get a good 15-20 hp just by tuning the motor...I bet you could turn around and sell that car on the .org for probally 3500 or so...as long as it has all the standards...but then again anyone that puts itb's and tec3 on a neon should know what else they need. It would be a nice turn around...post some pics if you end up getting it...

The fastest N/A Neon in the world has ITB 9sec car.

His Neon now features a custom Individual Throttle Bodies, Cold-Air induction, 2.7L DOHC DCR engine, alcohol injection, special Crane race grinds and a lighten chassis. its seems lik it would benifit alot, but the mods you would have to make, making a cable to open all of them at once, ugh, rerouting the gas pedal cable, that seems like soooo much work, forget it
