need help car not starting! need help bad!!!!

when i turn the key i hear the fuel pump and the car cranks but its not turning on. any ideas i really need help

Check to see if you have fire to your plugs

hi, i had a problem with my 99 ram 1500, turn the key on, i could hear the fuel pumb, but wouldn't start. No fire to plugs or or wires. I changed the coil pack, it fired right up.

Jeeze, this thread is 11 years old....I think he figured it out by now....be sure to look at the dates of the threads you are replying to. lol
