EGR valve replacement
Alright so my car needs a new one and i have no knowledge of cars what so ever but i do know where it is and it looks fairly simple, i have a buddy who i believe knows some stuff, i was wondering just how hard these are to put in and if i could do it myself.

its really pretty simple.....2-8mm bolts and 2-10mm bolts....its easy to get to it all if you move the fuse box out of the way

Thanks spud appreciate it bud. This ****s annoying, ive been getting like 15-20 mpg cause of this ****..usually get like 80 miles per quarter tank lately its been like 40 if im lucky.

May be another issue in the works, as egr "should not" directly effect mileage this way. When was last tune up? How is tire pressure and tread wear? What condition is your fuel pump and filter in? With a drop like that, there could be peril on the horizon far worse than egr.

One of the 02 sensors is bad also.

There is your mileage drop, or at least the bulk of it. I'd suggest replacing both 02 sensors. That is just how I am. Anything in pairs or groups gets repaired/replaced the same time.
