i had walmart put the tires on my srt rims and they told me that the tires are too wide to fit on the rim. they are definently 205/40/17 kumho ecsta ast tires. and they are just regular srt 4 rims

 

I'm not sure if the tires will fit the rims properly or nut. BUT, Wally World would not be my first choice for an "expert opinion"...Or second choice for that matter!

 

yep your definently right on that one. i went up there and they said that they cant do it there because they dont have a robo arm. they dont really know what there doing there. they said the sidewalls were too stiff because there low pros. so im goin to tire kingdom in the morning and they said that they have a "robo arm"

 

there are a few places that usually wont do low profile tires.....(walmart, sears, and a few others).....specialty tire shops will though

 

in otherwords low pros are a pita
i help my buddy at school one day take some off the were 225/40/15s
and we couldnt get the damn tire taker offer < not really sure what its called cuz i dropped the class( i knew more than the teacer)
so we just ended up taking a hacksaw and tin snips and cutting the damn tires off

 

I thought even 225/40/17's fit

someone let me know what size tires fit for the srt4 rims because im about to buy a pair myself

 

205/40-17's work the best since the rims are kinda narrow....only other size you could possibly go with is a 215/40-17....but the rims are a bit too narrow to safely use those

 

Tell them they are a bunch of idiots and go someplace where they know what they are doing.

 

alrighty know any set of 4 tires like that for decently cheap but are still nice

i know im askin for a lot
